Opportunities To Help
On October 20-24 our founder/Executive Director Chaplain Marie T Boyd will move back into her tent at Todd Stadium in Newport News. She will be there 24/7 until she fills a 55 gallon barrel with donations for the people affected by Hurricane Dorian. She is not new at this. When the world watched the tsunami devastate thousands of people, she camped out for a week in the freezing temperatures of February. She raised $21,000 for the Red Cross to help these victims. When the tragedy struck Haiti, she again camped out and raised $8,000 in a week. Please, let’s come together as a community to help Chaplain Marie Boyd to help others!
